Sé Catedral (Lisbon's cathedral)

It is one of the oldest monuments of the city, and the true historical cradle of Lisbon. The Cathedral was built in 1150 by D. Afonso Henriques, the first king of Portugal, three years after the monarch conquered the city from the Moors. Today the building has a mixture of styles due to successive reconstructions that took place after several earthquakes.
