Hotel Le Consulat
Praça Luís de Camões, 22, 1º1249-190 Lisboa
André Magalhães became famous for heading Taberna da Rua das Flores. Now the chef - who likes to be known as a 'tavern man' - is venturing into fine dining, but eschews any kind of pretentiousness. His new restaurant, located on the second floor of Le Consulat Hotel (Chiado), keeps the Portuguese spirit and the focus on seasonal and local products, though treated with a different technique and greater creativity. With a menu comprised of ten moments, it includes three snacks, an amuse bouche, a starter, a fish dish and a meat dish, two desserts and petit fours.
